It runs well for whom? for those who have an RTX 4090 like you and for who else? only for owners of the latest generation GPUs? C’mon….35 fps at 1080p on a 980 Ti in a game like this, without ray tracing, without any graphic effect of depth….does it runs well for you????

I think this time around they’ll most likely leverage DLSS for “optimizations” like many developers did this year for their PC ports, which would be rather unfortunate but not totally unexpected.

Console achievements for the singleplayer sits at 30-35% of players, which I think is a reasonable number for fans of the campaign. The rest just jump into running and gunning.

Meh, the game will probably sell a million on PC and then die in 3 months (like all their previous games). It’s consoles where the money is.

FSR 3 on COD is going to feel trash. And the reason why 3080 underperforms is because of consoles optimization of amd gpus. I would still take nvidia which has far superior DLSS which will give me more fps and better image quality than fsr any day

Most likely reason for that are the current-gen consoles with their AMDGPUs needing optimized code-paths to perform somewhat decently.

It will be interesting to see how much the Switch 2 with its NVIDIA GPU will force developers to write optimized renderer code for it, since it will be even weaker than the PS5 & SeriesX, thus demanding even more work to get games running on it acceptably.

The theoretical good news for us PC gamers could be the fact that it will feature first-class support for Vulkan, which could mean better optimized PC titles in the future…

Interesting to see the Steam Deck in there…
