I have to say I don’t know what people are smoking including jonnyboy. Outside of robocop himself and a couple of the major npcs this looks nothing special graphically and the reqs and jet fan noise for it at high/60 locked smooth are laughable. UE5 looks to be a disaster in this case, not good for the future. I get no stutters at all so far, smooth as butter. Testing at ultimate levels like here is a fools game or car salesman tactics nothing more. Turn it down to high, fancy stuff off and any of those older graphics cards would easily do 60, and you have fsr support too. This game seems to use a lot of power, for what? These companies talk about efficiency and eco stuff but then put out hundreds of watts per hour cards and terribly unoptimized games using UE5 etc smh

I thought this was a corridor shooter but that was just the tutorial level, it’s more beat cop lite rpg with likely arcade shooter here and there and major missions. I like it, it’s fun but it’s not the be all it’s presented as. 50$? base game? pass the blunk scrow lol 40-50gb size? I doubt there’s any replay value though, maybe reinstall terminator game as it feels like an updated reskin here just different source ip. There’s always coj gunslinger from 2013..

Alan Wake 2 is a weird one.

For some reason they are using SW global illumination.

Again its so it doesnt look vastly different it makes no sense not to have it path traced.

I cant believe no ones calling this out you could litterally have a 4090 and none of its RTX capabilities is even being used.

UE5 is abysmal.

Dissapointing from a company like remedy whove always been so PC centric.

I don’t want to discredit Rocksteady because they did well with Arkham games but let’s be honest Batman is a solid material to adapt (surely that doesn’t mean you can’t make a total trash out of it but there are far more difficult franchises to adapt esp. for the game.
Teyon threw themselves onto The Terminator – a franchise everyone kept screwing up but they did a solid job with it. Now it’s Robocop, not an easy task as well. And we can tell they did the best they could’ve considering their resources.

For me, Terminator Resistance was a real sequel to the Terminator 1-2 movies, I was just blown away by how good the game was.

+Amazing atmosphere that makes you feel like you are playing your part in the Terminator films. The last battle was epic.
+Rewarding exploration and fun combat. It takes time to upgrade your character and laser weapons to the point where you can take out T-800s with ease, but it’s worth it.
+The T-800s in this game are very tough and can be scary exactly like the first terminator film.

-Graphics isnt the worst because it’s UE4 after all, but there are imperfections like blury textures and poor facial animation.

Overall it was easily 9/10 from me. If Robocop is as good, I know I will like the game too.

Yeah even more considering path tracing in Cyberpunk is experimental feature and it’s GI doesn’t have the anomalies of Alan Wake 2’s GI where it’s considered as final.

Damn right! That game is the 3rd film we all wanted to see

If you’re a fan of the first 2 films than I guarantee you’ll love that game! The atmosphere, music, sound design, etc. in it is honestly something that most of us thought we’ll never experience but there we were fighting in James Cameron’s future war of T1 & T2. The DLC is great as well.
