Idk nintendont might actually be leaking this themselves, only sales they’re losing are to those who have switches who use these but usually those types just buy an official copy anyways. With the digital only option for switch owners it seems like maybe they’ll have win versions at some point. Prob make more on new releases if they just cut out the hardware development etc costs and like sega moved over to software only.
Or this could be a disgruntled videogame store employee somewhere, nintendont hasn’t exactly had a reputation for being gamer friendly over the years. The lawyerism and such.

Craptendo still thinks gatekeeping games is cool.
They could drop this on PC and earn easy huge pile of money, and even earn some trust from the PC community folks.

Instead they are dumbfools, praised for reskined games for full price, by they even more dumb and naive fanbase.

Youtube and Twitter use algorithms that detect the video within seconds.

Rumble doesn’t have this capacity to do that afaik. Nintendo probably has no idea what it is. Peertube and Mastodon are decentralised so Nintendo has no central authority to file a complaint against.

On Rumble these leaks have been up for a long time without takedowns:

In reply to pancakes. I wasn't aware that Rumble wouldn't respond immediately to DMCA takedown requests. Do they actually attempt to verify their validity before acting on them, or do they give the video uploader a chance to dispute the claim before they take action?
